Lost addict - The best American sitcom ever
From the desk of samy,
When? 2 minutes? 4 minutes? 5? When did I get hooked on Lost? Come on! Next time, please, warn me and I will switch the laptop off in time!
It’s unfair! I didn’t know it was so addictive, I didn’t know I would be waiting every Friday in order to watch the new episode!
Really, I was impressed by this sitcom from the beginning.:It’s different from the others.
Along the episodes, you are more and more… and more, and even more interested in what the bloody hell is going on the island ? But what a paradox… Every time you watch a new episode, you know more things about the mystery that is surrounding the island… But, at the same time, you know fewer things! That is to say, the mystery is growing and growing… Non-stop!
There are 6 seasons scheduled and nowadays, we are watching the fourth. But, impressively, we hardly know anything for sure! I think that the writers are just fantastic and they are creating one of the most elaborate sitcom ever. And, furthermore, the writers’ strike… I think, even though I was wanting them to finish it, it was good for Lost: it could be a key for the success of the sitcom because the writers have had time to consider and improve their thoughts. And it’s very necessary in order to finish the sitcom correctly and without errors as it’s very complicated. I can’t imagine their notes to handle so much information. I encourage them to go on as good as they have being until now.
Another thing that makes Lost more popular (yes, even more popular), are the theories. Lost has so many mysteries and things to be discovered that everybody has a different vision on what’s going on. So, a lot of hypothetical theories have emerged. I try to read as many theories as I can even though there are too many. After some time, I daresay that the best one is this one (time loop machine). It seems the only possible option to interconnect all the dead threads: a time machine. One thing that the writers have also done well is to create a fantastic sitcom without being extremely paranoic or out-of-normal.
There is another well-known theory focused on the numbers: Rousseau’s genetic mirror theory. It would be quite interesting… If it was true. But I’ve been searching the net… And I haven’t found a single website supporting this theory but the ones talking about Lost. Has FOX invented it in order to create confusion surrounding the sitcom? We don’t know my friends…
Anyway… I’m looking forward to watching the next episode… I have to confess: I’m a Lost addict.
