CPE Entrance test - Composition
My usual English school (fiac) has terminated their CPE classes on saturday mornings. Five of us started the course, but in January only 3 went ahead with it… So, they claimed that they couldn’t keep up English lessons in this timetable, that we must move to another timetable. I have to say that I don’t like fiac a lot, in fact, it was the first year for years that I liked the teacher… Usually they were boring, but this year I had a very funny American one who wanted to teach English.
Well, if they have to stop teaching on saturday morning because there were 2 students less at class… Sorry, but they should learn something about economics and how to do the bookkeeping…
Anyway, it’s been four months without doing a single English exercise and I don’t want to give it up once I’m so close to my goal (CPE). So, I’ve decided to try at International House, where my girlfriend goes too, and take it up in order to try to pass PCE next year.

Hi mates!
It’s a bit late right now (it’s 2.30 AM) but I wanted to upload something. I’ve just tried to post in englishforums a message asking for people who will be “happy” to help me correcting my mistakes. I don’t know if I’ve done it properly, I’ll see tomorrow if my post have been posted or not. In case not, I’ll try again. The post is the following one (I copy it here so that I’ll be able to review it). How to learn English…?
Hi everybody !!
It’s my first experience… In Wordpress. This Blog starts with a single purpose: Improve my English as much as I can. It means that it’s very likely to find some mistakes that could be grammatical ones, or on the other hand, vocabulary mistakes. Some words positioned where they mustn’t be, etc. Despite I can write in English, and be understood, I’m not a perfect English writer. I wish I were. I would like to pass my PCE relatively soon, and I think that I may have problems to pass CAE exam. So, I need some help. I’m a bit far to pass PCE. I’ve started to read in English, and watch some sitcoms in English too. And I’ve got friends that have had to write a lot in English (Work…) and they all have improved faster than ever. This is why I’ve finally decided to start this blog. (more…)
